You've probably heard about the earthquake in Haiti. The only people who can get in to help so far have been trained professionals such as doctors, nurses, and firemen, but last week our Denver team was asked if we would be interested in taking a team to Haiti to help serve in whatever capacity we can and prepare the way for Campus Crusade to begin sending students there over the next few months & years. A co-worker and I (Brett) gladly accepted the offer and have the privelege of being one of the first, if not the first group bringing students to Haiti to help. We currently have 4 students who are excited to go, and just need to get their passports ready. Three of the students going are in nursing school, so this should be right up their alley. I'm assuming I'll probably be removing rubble or whatever else is needed at this time. It looks like the cost of the trip will be around $1,000 per person, so if you would like to help send me, we would greatly appreciate it. If you could also please pray that these students would get their passports in time, we can get reasonably priced flights, and that their school would help cover some, or all, of the cost for these students to go. We really hope to meet some needs while we're there, both physical and spiritual. Please also pray that we would share the gospel in every chance we get.
