On the 17th, Levi had his 4 month checkup. He weighed 14 lbs 7 oz and 26 1/4 inches. He is starting to get into a daytime routine, which has been nice. However, nightime is still a mystery. He could sleep for seven hours or could be up every two hours. He also has had some eczema and redness on his cheeks, arms, shoulders, and legs. I decided to take dairy out of my diet, and that has seemed to help. His doctor didn't seem concerned and recommended keeping his skin moisturized and avoiding scratchy fabrics.
Luke is also doing well. He is now wearing his big boy undies except for naps and bedtime. He even wore undies to church the past two Sundays! The catch, making him go. He rarely lets us know when he need to go to the bathroom, so every few hours I ask him if he needs to go potty and then make him sit. He usually goes right away, so I guess he is good at holding it. Tonight we (Luke, Levi, and myself) left the house (to get some groceries) when Brett left for a campus Bible study. Luke said, "I wanna go to Bible study." I responded with, "Someday. Someday buddy." Luke's comment was then, "Thanks Mommy." :) Love these sweet moments!

Today Levi is 4 months old. His grandpa Phelan is also celebrating his birthday today; happy birthday grandpa! :)
Last night Brett asked Luke to pray before going to bed. Here is his version of the Lord's Prayer. Brett taped it using his phone, and I interrupted the prayer by coming in the room. Oops! |
