You have probably heard of the children's book "Where the Wild Things Are"...
Well, in the book, there is a phrase that Max, the main character uses. He says, "Let the wild rumpus begin!" Lately, I often think of this line when I watch our little man playing. Lukas, like all little boys, is becoming a wild thing! As I have said so many times, he is growing up so fast! He loves playing with balls, cars, and trains. He enjoys pushing any button within his reach to see what it will do or if it will make a sound. He loves to be chased and caught. And he now has made it a daily activity to climb on the furniture, or on top of his 3-story Little People garage (thankfully a 3-story structure for Little People toys is only about 18 inches). And he dances...on the floor, on the furniture, or just about anywhere if he hears the right tune that puts him in the dancing mood. Another sweet activity he has started in the last few days has been to put his feet into mom or dad's shoes and walk around in them. Now, if we could just get him to put his own shoes on... We are so thankful for our "Wild Thing"! Love him!
